It is in very good working order. Ridgid 5 bench vise 5000R opens to 6 plus PRD586 for sale is a very nice Ridgid vise.

It swivels nicely and closes completely the jaws are in great shape and move within revolution of the handle. I consider it to be in excellent condition. The jaws open and close with finger pressure.

If my research is correct these vises are machined in Germany and not cast making for a very strong lighter weight vise.
