The hole size is for a 1 inch post. For offer I have a banjo tool rest holder for a delta Wood lathe. This item is in excellent working condition. This banjo also clamps to some of the older delta heavy duty lathe beds.

It clamps perfectly to my 1964 delta model lathe for example.
