Vintage heavy duty bench vice, desmond Simplex 5 usa, 5 open, 27lbs.

The jaws open and close smoothly and the jaw pads are replaceable and in surprisingly great condition. I can't guarantee that.

The vise is sound and without cracks, broken parts, or chips. The scars from years of use are there, but this tool is solid and will work hard for you for many yeas to come. A big heavy duty vise for your work bench. The turn handle is bent, but functions fine in the position it is in.

Be sure to re oil it before use. I did not try to remove it, but it appears that the swivel should work once that is removed. This is big.

The swivel has been disabled with a bolt.
