The base is x wide the jaws are wide. This vise is in very good condition and works great. The vise is extremely heavy. The base has the swivel option along with jaws for pipe under the flat jaws.

Truly a unique find and highly collectable.. There are some Normal nicks and such from the years of use though. Up for your consideration is a nice old Wilton vise.

The jaws on the vise are solid without any cracks or breaks or repairs. Markings Wilton, made in us. The jaws are wide.

Approximate measurements it is tall. Jaw width 3/1 2, jaw opening 4/1 2, 111018, 111109, condition the vise is in very good working condition with just some rust and a few nicks. The handles are all straight and are not bent as most are from people using a cheater bar to tighten down the adjustments.
